Travel Brochure
Objective: Students will create a comprehensive travel brochure for a travel destination of their choice in Activstudio. They can use an existing travel destination such as Hawaii, the Bahamas, etc., or they create one of their own. This brochure will include information such as what the destination looks like and where it is located, a short history of the destination, what recreational activities there are available for guests to enjoy, a list of items a traveler would need to bring with them, how a traveler can get to this destination, and what different kinds of travel packages are offered. The key is to create a visually appealing brochure that will entice customers to go to this travel destination while including all of the important information.
Specific Project Requirements:
Students will create a travel brochure on a destination of their choice. This destination can either be a real location or a fictitious one (i.e. Hawaii, Tahiti, Mars, Atlantis, etc.). You must include the following required elements in your project.
Use these 8 categories
1. Title page- include location and your name
2. Table of contents- linking to each page
3. Cultural history- a brief synopsis -5 sentences
4. A description of the travel destination-geography and topography-5 sentences
5. Recreational activities- skiing, surfing, hiking, sightseeing… -5 sentences
6. What a traveler should bring with them- types of clothes, supplies… -5 sentences
7. Travel recommendations (how to get to the destination and once there, how to get around.) –map and directions to the travel destination and map/directions to local attractions -5 sentences
8. Travel Packages- for example 3 night, 4 night, or 7 day trips and costs. -5 sentences

ü Action objects linking pages-table of contents page to each required section and a link back

ü Make words/objects pop up
ü Append text/object
ü Flip info-front to back (like a coin)
Other requirements:
Make sure to include:
1. Text size no smaller than 20.
2. Border lines dividing each section of the brochure (if necessary).
3. A list, either bulleted or numbered info. is ok
Before turning in the project, make sure that you have these items:
1. Check your spelling
2. Check that you have all 8 topics
3. Include all Activstudio requirements
